Ideal climate: long period of hot, dry and sunny weather, punctuated by some rains in August and early September to stimulate perfect maturity. The wines are remarkably well constructed! Deep color. Intense aromas of red fruits and spicy berries. Rich, delicate and tasty material. Beautiful constitution. The very present tannins line the palate, the palate is round, supple, silky and enveloped. Patience so that everything is harmonized. A very fine vintage. Aging 12/15 years.

Robe rubis soutenu. Nez profond, relativement fermé, quelques tonalités minérales, boisées, pierre à fusil. En bouche une belle attaque, un joli volume, des tanins fins. Le fruit prend le relais en milieu de bouche et la finale s’enrichit de tonalités de réglisse et d’épices persistantes.

Very attractive rich dark berries and plum aromas are nicely focused amid gently floral and fresh leafy aromas. The palate has an approachable, open-knit core of ripe, fleshy fruit. Really charming. Drink or hold.

Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois annual tasting, the 2015 Biston-Brillette has a clean and crisp, almost Pauillac-like bouquet with graphite-tinged black fruit that feels very focused. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, grippy and forthright. There is impressive density to this Moulis, a wine with ambitions. And why not? Give this a few years in the cellar because it certainly has the structure and substance. Drink 2019-2033.
