etiquette_2011Summer spring, autumnal summer, and at the end, an early harvest with different characters and excellent “cuvées”.

The quality of our work, our high standards and technical, still allow us to offer you this year a well crafted vintage.

Intense red ruby color. Fresh nose, spicy and smoky. Lovely  palate, with soft and mellow tannins. Good finish, silky and delicate. Beautiful bottle to drink now and to the next two to eight years.

Frankfurter Allgemeine, Juin 2014, (Note 2,33)

The 2011 Biston-Brillette has clean, fresh bouquet with scents of wild hedgerow and fresh raspberry that is neatly folded into oak. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. This is well focused, tense with pleasing minerality on the finish. Not a wine to amaze you, but it demonstrates thoughtful winemaking and will offer much pleasure over the next decade.

Decanter, March 2014, 16 (86)
Fruit-driven and accessible. Medium-bodied weight. Fine tanic frame. Well-made with plenty of charm. Drink 2014-2020.

Wine Spectator, January 2014, (88)
A caressing red, with crushed plum and blackberry sauce notes gliding over velvety tannins, backed by lingering smoke and loam hints on the finish. Drink now through 2017.

Guide Gilbert & Gaillard 2015
Beautiful vibrant red. Focused fruity nose with subtle mineral oak undercurrents. The palate displays wonderful density and evident, ripe tannins framed by fairly elegant oak. A wine still in the initial phases of ageing where fruit needs to come forward.

Terre de Vins, La sélection Bettane & Desseauve, Mai 2012
Deep, full, well balanced, this is a classic of the aooellation, in the style of the vintage.

A beautiful full wine, superb density, tannins are very elegant. Great success.
